Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJUDITH (JUDY) ROSE GERYLO (nee GARNER) June 20, 1948 - April 6, 2018 Judy was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, June 20, 1948 and passed away at Grace Hospital on April 6, 2018. Judy Gerylo, daughter of Alfred Eric and Amy Jane Garner and loving life partner of Allan Pottinger, died after complications stemming from her almost lifelong battle with Lupus. She is survived by her life partner Al, her daughter Krista Weiser (Steven), her son Kerry Gerylo, her grandchildren, Aeryk (Carly), Marah, Jakeb, Carter and Macie and her great-granddaughter Brooklynn. She is also survived by her brother William Garner and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Rose Bate, father Eric, mother Amy and brother Eric Arthur (Art) Garner (Shirley Garner). Judy grew up in Transcona, attending church and singing in the choir at St. George's Anglican Parish. She graduated from Transcona Collegiate. She enjoyed fishing with her dad, playing bingo and being involved with different social clubs as much as her health would permit. She cherished time with her family and many friends. Mom will be remembered for her warm hugs and corny jokes. Thank you to Dr. Easton and his care team in the Intensive Care Unit at Grace Hospital. The care they provided to Mom is much appreciated and will be long remembered. No formal service is planned. A Celebration of Life will take place at Mosaic Event Centre at 1006 Nairn Ave. from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm. on Monday, April 16. She was the best mother I could have ever asked for with a hard of gold, the kindest person you'd ever meet! She had a hard life with pain and health problems. I miss you Mom and I'm sorry that you had to live such a hard life. I'm just glad now you're in peace and I love you very much and you're not suffering anymore.
