ROBERT JOSEPH LUGER GAUTHIER November 30, 1949 - April 19, 2018 With great sorrow we announce the passing of Robert Joseph Luger Gauthier, better known as "French Bob". Bob was from Montreal, but moved to Winnipeg in the late 1970s where he worked as a metal inspector, but later he became renown as a carpenter, and then he became self-employed with all-in-one interior renovator, retiring in 2016. He had an affinity with animals and nature in general, but he will be remembered most for making everyone laugh and being the life of the party with everyone he met. Bob left us suddenly at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 68, and is predeceased by his son James; his brothers, Gerald, Andre, Pierre and Sylvain; and his sister Raymonde. Friends are invited to an informal service or Celebration of Life that will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28 outside of 500 Block of Churchill Drive, in Churchill Drive Park.
