PARAMJEET (PAMMI) KAUR SINGH September 12, 1948 - April 24, 2018 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Pammi. Until the end, she set an example for those around her with her strong will and courage, including as she bravely fought her illness. She is survived by her daughter Amrit (Darren), grandchildren, Tristan and Oliver, son Ajit (Ashley), brother Jaspal (Jasbir), niece Simi, nephew Vikram, sister Sandal (Onkar), niece Komal (Sukhmeet), nephew Vansh (Suprita), she was predeceased by her mother Harjasbir and father Gopal. Pammi's life was driven by a strong sense of obligation and work ethic which she imparted upon her family. Throughout the years she worked in many positions to support her family, including most recently at the D-2 ward at the Health Sciences Centre, which she performed proudly and with diligence. Above all, Pammi loved her family more than anything. Despite battling severe illness, she seized every opportunity to find joy in life by cooking, reading, swimming and visiting family. The family would like to thank Grace Hospital, CancerCare Manitoba and the Palliative Care program for providing comfort during her final days. Services will be held at Thompson "In the Park" Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, followed by final prayer at the Sikh Society of Manitoba Gurudwara, 1244 Mollard Road. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba or the Health Sciences Centre Foundation.
