PETER READ January 11, 1963 - April 26, 2018 Peter Read, my beloved Peter, my soulmate, the love of my life, left this world peacefully at his home on April 26, 2018, at the very young age of 55 years after a strong courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his spouse of 25 years, Marni, his children, James (Leona), Kyla (Mitchell), Dakotah and Tristan, his cherished grandchildren, Coltin, twins Blayne and Tavin, and Xavier, his mother and father Alicia and Roy, his brothers, David (Robin) and Mike, his sister who resides in New Zealand, Jane (Brent), nephews, Jacob and Casey, his mother-in-law Gloria Sech and Desiree and Nathan, and other extended family and friends. Peter, I will love you forever my smart, incredible man until we meet again hand and hand. Thank you for truly loving all us unconditionally, we were so blessed to have you in our lives. Farewell, for now, my Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Granddad and friend. A Celebration of Life will take place in June.   • Peter, you will truly be missed, I met Peter in 2000, that first day you can tell he was someone very unique, passionate and one of kind person. Life sometimes is not fair and we cannot judge what God has chosen for us, but we can always cherish memories and remember each time you look up in the sky at night, that shining star is someone smiling back at you.   • I met Peter about 11 years ago through work. A great mentor and always there with that booming voice to offer a joke or a laugh. Rough around the edges with an absolute heart of gold.   • As we grieve for such great loss of a wonderful human being. Intelligent for sure, that beautiful smile and caring person. You will be dearly missed by so many. It is unfair in life when one is taken away so young. The ones who are left behind to suffer which is so hard.   • Our sons played hockey together many years ago and the impression Peter left upon us was something else. He was a wonderful man and great husband and amazing dad, to us he was just a fun person to hang out with. Dawn Sabeski and myself truly enjoyed his company at the rink.
