I was saddened to hear of Norm's passing. We grew up in 2 houses apart on Dunraven Ave. He was a good friend when you needed one. We lost touch over the years but one of those fellows you never forget. May he rest in peace. - Posted by: Gwen Zirk (Nicholl) (CHILDHOOD FRIEND ) on: Jun 20, 2018

For the last 4 years I served Norm at his regular visits at library. He was easily recognized for his sunglasses and pleasantries. He will be missed at our branch. Condolences to the family and friends. - Posted by: Cheryl Hill (Aquaintence ) on: Jun 07, 2018

Sorry for your loss. I "knew of" Norm for years , but was lucky to get to "Know " Norm for the last 5 years. A decent, all around great guy, with a dry sense of humor and great laugh. Always there if you needed him. I was lucky to have known him and will remember him fondly. - Posted by: Pete (Friend) on: May 27, 2018

So very sorry to hear about Norm's passing. Many and great are the memories of young life in Manitoba, family gatherings, long, motorcycle rides and trips, teaching motorcycle safety, and fixing bikes in the garage with friends. It was an adventure. Norm was very smart, well spoken, friendly with all, and took an interest in many things. His sister Joan taught him to dance and his social life benefited from that! His parents were salt-of-the-earth folks who were supportive and proud of him. I pray for his soul and the family who he loved and left behind. - Posted by: Sharyn Friesen Jarzombek (motorcycle partner ) on: May 26, 2018
