WESLEY (WES) BERGEN Suddenly on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, our dad, husband, brother, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 66 years. Wes was predeceased by his mother in 1981, father in 1993, and sister Mary in 2008. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Charlene, his children, Rod, Dan and Vanessa. He will also be sadly missed by his first wife Jean (Wally) Burchuk, brother Ben (Jeannette) Bergen, sisters, Tina Lubic and Sarah Dyck, dear friend Marilyn Giesbrecht, and Tristan McDonald, numerous nieces, and nephews, extended family and dear friends. Wes worked for Winnipeg Transit for 29 years and retired in 2005. He was currently working for Chancellor Insulating. He will always be fondly remembered for being generous with his time and willingness to assist others with a helping hand. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 505 Oakview. Family wish to extend a special thanks to the guys that were by Wes' side from FBM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wes' name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice.
