RAYMOND ALBERT KIESMAN May 26, 1930 June 22, 2018 Passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the St. Boniface Hospital with his family by his side. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years; Theresa (nee Cebriy), daughters, Faye (Al), Cindy (Ken), and son Mel (Sheila); eight grandchildren, Janet (Phil), Laura (Kent), Zach, David (Mikaila), Kristine, Matthew, Isaac and Marguerita; four great-grandsons, Euan, Noah, Colby and Danny; two brothers, Ernest and Leo (Rose) and numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. Raymond was born in Moosehorn, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg when he was 20. The highlight of his working career was his employment with Motorways for 35 years. He was an avid football and hockey fan and he and mom enjoyed many years with Bomber season tickets. Retirement was spent at his hobby farm in Matlock, Manitoba, fondly referred to as the North 40, where many family gatherings were held. Dad's greatest joy was having his children and grandchildren together for mom's delicious fried chicken, perogies and cabbage rolls. Raymond and Theresa spent his later years back in Winnipeg. Thank you to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to a charity of one's choice. Interlake Cremation & Memorial Services in care of arrangements.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • My sincere condolences to Terry and family. I had the sincere priviledge and honor to work with Ray but also have him as my mentor during my years in sales. Ray and Terry both gave me the confidence to move forward in my career and teach me so much about family. Ray was dedicated to his family and was so proud of everyone. His believes in family are instilled in me today. I truly miss our conversations about life. Danny and Kathy Kowarchuk - Posted by: Danny Kowarchuk (Friend) on: Nov 13, 2018
