OTTO WAI LUN SO
Born: Jan 02, 1946
Date of Passing: Jun 25, 2018
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOTTO WAI LUN SO Otto left us peacefully on June 25, 2018. He was born in postwar Hong Kong on January 2, 1946, and began a new life in Canada in 1972 with his wife Adelina, and daughters Joy and Judy. His life was filled with projects, especially cars, though his interests included collecting "stuff", travelling, and especially photography, seldom being seen without at least one camera at the ready, and documenting many events for friends and family. After a career in IT, he built up International Hair Care with his wife Adelina. After her death in 1995, he married Anna, who sadly died in 2001 after less than two years of marriage. Never a quitter, in 2011 he married Roberta Beach in a car club celebration, and enjoyed a retirement of car events, travel and renovations. Otto had ALMOST completed his dream home renovations. Otto battled kidney disease for over 20 years, finally pioneering some new technology in home pd over two years. Sadly, this limited his travel. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will take place after the service at St. Vital Cemetery, with reception to follow at Glen Lawn Funeral Home. Club cars welcome. In lieu of flowers, a blood donation would be appropriate as Otto broke the bank in his last weeks battling a drug toxicity. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
