Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN DIATO CAMUNGOL It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Norman Diato Camungol on June 26, 2018, at the age of 50. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Paulita, and his two sons, Martin Thomas and Nathaniel Benedict, his parents, Juanito and Benedicta, his brother and sisters, Noel (Susan), Noreen (Geoff) and Normie, his mother-in-law Natalia, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Norberto (Mildred), Don (Marie), Nona (Jose), Petronilo (Nina) and Marietta (Nelson), many nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends. Norman was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. In his short life, he has touched the lives of many with his warm, contagious smile, and his kind, giving heart. He was an avid Winnipeg Jets and Star Wars fan who enjoyed the simpler things in life, including a daily Sudoku. Though many would say he was just a simple guy, his expression of love and selflessness was far from simple. His generosity knew no bounds and was always evident in his day to day. He was a successful business owner, who loved his staff like family. A man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be truly missed. A celebration of Norman's life will be held on July 7, 2018 and July 8, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral service will be held on July 10, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Tavelich Church, 2688 Main St. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. If the tears shed upon learning of Norman’s passing could bring him back he would be amongst us now. A finer human being I have yet to meet. Norman and Paulie were our neighbors when they lived on Bachman Bay. We really enjoyed getting to know them and their two cute, sweet little guys, Martin “Thomas”, and Nathaniel. When they moved to their new house we surely missed having them as neighbors and really enjoyed it when our paths would cross at various places around the city, especially when we would see each other at Bell MTS Centre and share our passion for our beloved Winnipeg Jets. When Norman became a entrepreneur you just knew he would be successful. He was such a genuine and caring person and treated everyone with kindness and respect. The passion he had for all that he did was matched only by that for all that he loved. I will always remember Norman’s smile, it was big, from ear to ear and it could light up an entire room. He was a fun loving person and every now and then you got a hint of the “never mean” prankster that was inside. Winnipeg has lost one of its best citizens and a finer human being would be hard to find. Heaven is celebrating Norman’s arrival and giving us warm sunny days to remember him by, Norman you are loved through all eternity and will be missed, until we meet again. Rest in peace. - Posted by: Susan and Joe Morrisseau (Neighbor and friend) on: Jul 09, 2018

Thank you Norm for the years we had as friends, business owners at Polo Park and as members of the Winnipeg Goldeyes group of concessions. My heart broke when I heard of your passing and hurts even more as I type this. From getting to know you and your family and to sharing good times and laughs with you has made me thankful that God brought you into my life even if for a short period of time. May you rest in peace my friend. I will never forget you. - Posted by: Grant Tymchuk (Friend) on: Jul 04, 2018
