Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN JAMES DRUMMOND January 29, 1939 - July 3, 2018 Glen passed away on July 3, 2018 after a hard and complicated battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Jock and Gertrude, and sister Mildred. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Ina (Thomasina); daughter Kimberly, and brother Doug (Bev); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Glen grew up in Norwood and spent time in Notre Dame and built a cabin in St. Malo where he loved crashing through the bush on his lawnmower. He worked as a youth at Nutty Club and a class 1 mechanic for Stern and Wyatt Truck Rentals. Eventually he moved on to work for the City of Winnipeg where he remained until he retired in 2000. As per Glen's wishes cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, a donation in memory of Glen can be made to a charity of your choice. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

I met Glen in the 1990s and it was one prank after another, you never knew what Glen and his partner in crime Jim Pacey were up to. It made working fun and enjoyable. I received my nickname 3M for some jobs I did for him at the shops that were almost impossible to repair but it stuck(no pun). I'm a welder. Great guy to be around, you'll be missed for sure.
