He is also survived by his brothers, Omer (Germaine) and Luc (Marguerite), his sisters-in-law, Juliette and Diane; as well as his brother-in-law Roger (Marilyn), his sisters-in-law, Simonne (Al) and Lucille, and his many nieces and nephews. He's now reunited with Bear, Bandit and Sugar. Throughout his life, and even when he was suffering from debilitating pain, Steve never missed an opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, his sons and daughters-in-law, and the one true love of his life, Cecile. The family would like to thank their many friends, neighbours and relatives for their endless support. Heartfelt thanks also go to the nurses and doctors at CancerCare Manitoba and Health Sciences Centre. Words cannot express the gratitude Steve's family feels for the grace, care, and compassion they showed to Steve and his family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Steve's name to CancerCare Manitoba. The funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at St. Bernadette Church, 820 Cottonwood Road in Winnipeg with Father Phil Daley presiding. Private interment at a later date.
