JEANNINE THEORET Born October 16, 1941 It is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of our Mom, peacefully at Riverview Health Centre Palliative Care unit, on July 7, 2018 at the age of 76. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Claude (Sheryl Beaudoin); Helene (Jon Szo); Lise (Terry) Wright, and grandchild Charmaine Theoret, as well as her six siblings, Francine, Joel, Loraleigh, Vivianne, Catherine and Dominque. Mom was born in Ste. Rose du Lac, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg in 1980. She retired from the School Division when she was 65. Mom loved to sing in the choir and volunteer once a week. A celebration of her life will be held at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. on Tuesday, July 17 at 2:00 p.m. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Riverview Health Centre for their kindness and compassionate care. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Jeannine was a radiant spirit and beautiful woman. An absolute pleasure to work with. A hard worker, but also knew how to throw a good party with all her culinary pleasures. Remembering fondly meeting her family; brothers, sisters and children at her annual Christmas parties. She was a light in the darkness and her spirit will continue to shine upon us. - Posted by: Arlene Chesley (Friend and co-worker) on: Jul 17, 2018

  • She was a lovely, thoughtful and caring woman who loved her children very much! I’m honoured to have had a chance to have met her within these last couple of years. She had tremendous strength, determination and will! May her soft spirit shine through her children and into her next painless journey! I extend my sincerest thoughts and prayers to all the family members and dear friends. - Posted by: Michelle Petit (Family friend ) on: Jul 15, 2018

  • MJ and Lise, my thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. It was a great pleasure to know your mom. MJ, whatever kind of party you had, your mom was always there to support you and I was always happy to have a conversation with her. She always made me laugh and she was very proud of you two. Your mom was a wonderful and caring individual and I know she will be sadly missed by all. Hugs all around, Denise - Posted by: Denise Stirman (Friend) on: Jul 14, 2018
