ADA DIANA LEONG (née AU) December 30, 1952 - July 11, 2018 It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Ada who passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family. Ada will be lovingly remembered by her husband Stephen, of 43 years, and her son Anthony (Edith). She will also be forever missed by her brother Chris (Rika); her brothers-in-law, Stanley (Ivy) and Tommy (Kitty); and her many nieces and nephews, Pamela, Wendy, Leslie, Linda, Douglas, Graham, Melissa, Tiffany, Darren, Colby, Christopher, Tianna and Cassie. She was predeceased by her sister Ping Wong (Jimmy), mother Gee Jan (née Do), and father Kwong Ming Au. Ada was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she met and married Stephen, attended the University of Manitoba, and began her professional career in actuarial consulting and pension administration. She moved with her family to Coquitlam, British Columbia in 1988. Throughout her life, Ada was known for her generosity, mentorship, and wicked humour. She loved spending time with friends and family enjoying good food, travel, books, movies, laughter and a great game of mah jong. A funeral service in memory of Ada will be held at 10:00 a.m., July 20, 2018 at Burquitlam Funeral Home, 625 North Road, Coquitlam, BC, with interment following at Robinson Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 Robinson Street, Coquitlam, BC. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Ada to the BC Cancer Agency and/or the Crossroads Hospice Society.
