Elaine was born in Winnipeg, MB on April 9, 1927 and was the eldest daughter of Albert and Indiana Harmer. She was predeceased by her loving husband Edward (Ted) and brother Bruce. She is survived by her son James (Svetlana); sister Norma Mullan; and sister-in-law Kay Powell. Elaine was a strong woman who enjoyed travelling, bridge, reading, playing the slots and a stiff drink or two before dinner. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. At her request there will be no service. A celebration of Elaine's life will be held later this summer. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

Our deepest condolences to all family and friends. She was such a wonderful, strong, and loving lady. We will certainly miss our interesting conversations about all her life experiences, travels and books at holiday dinners. She will be so missed.
