FRANCES WESTNOWSKI (nee HOUSTON) On July 14, 2018 a beautiful angel was called back home. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our precious mother, Frances Westnowski (nee Houston), at the age of 88. Left to mourn her passing are her eight children, Reney Thomas, Audrea Thomas-Braun, Larry Thomas (Ardell), Sharon Thomas, Kathy Thomas (Oliver), Jeff Thomas (Margrett), Barb Westnowski (Warren) and Brenda Pshednovak (Tom), numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Frances was predeceased by her husband Andrew Westnowski and was previously married to John Thomas whom she remained friends with until his passing. A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 23 at 11:00 a.m. at the Seasons Funeral Chapel, 576 Balsam Crescent, Oakbank, MB. A longer obituary will be given to her family and friends attending the memorial services. As Mom would sing with so much love, "I love you, a bushel and a peck, a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. A barrel and a heap, and you make my life complete."
