Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBRIAN GEORGE SMITH With his mother by his side, Brian passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at the age of 55 years. He will be sadly missed by his mother Shirley Smith; brothers, Brad (Karen) Smith, Larry Smith (Jill) and David Kinnear; sister Connie (John) Bagrie; his nieces, Megan, Kayla, Amy, Emily and Tori; and nephew Kyle. Brian was predeceased by his father Ross Smith. Brian was determined, strong and easy going. He was a quiet but observant gentleman. He always found his favourite spot at the end of the hall where he could keep an eye on all activities that were happening on 3 West at St. Amant. Brian's smile could light up a room. He was known to have a mischievous side to him, always laughing out loud and giggling. He enjoyed listening to music, swimming, ice cream and his green frogs. Brian was loved by both his immediate family and his family at St. Amant. Brian's family wishes to acknowledge all the love and care Brian received while living at St. Amant. He will be deeply missed. Cremation has taken place and for those wishing to attend, a memorial service will be held on August 26 at 2:00 p.m., at St. Amant Chapel, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, Manitoba. As expressions of sympathy, if friends so wish, donations may be made in Brian's memory to the St. Amant Foundation, 440 River Road, Winnipeg, MB R2M 3Z9. A tree will be planted in memory and cared for by McKenzies Portage Funeral Chapel www.mckenziesportagefuneralchapel.com 204-857-4021.
