Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARGARET (PEGGY) HICKS (nee MAYO) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Peggy on July 28, 2018. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Robert, in 2009; sons, Robert Jr. and Russel and daughter-in-law Edith. She leaves to mourn her daughter Barbara (Charlie); daughter-in-law Diana; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren across Canada and the United States; along with many nieces and nephews. Peggy spent much of her younger years working with the T. Eaton Company. She loved her flowers and garden and she very much enjoyed time spent at the cottage. Initially at Sherwood Lake and later at Hillside Beach. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the nursing staff at Middlechurch Home, who cared for Peggy and also made the long distance family feel closer. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Peggy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice. www.voyagefuneralhomes.com

I am truly sorry for your loss, please accept my sincere condolences. I hope the Hicks family finds comfort and strength in Jesus promise along with our heavenly father Jehovah of the earthly resurrection, where death will be eliminated forever.
