She will be sadly missed by her husband, Maurice, her daughter Karen (John), her sons, Raymond and David; and her grandchildren, Thomas and Danielle (Jonathan). She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. Polly was born to Louis Kwasny and Katryna Romaniuk on a farm near Teulon, Manitoba. She was the youngest of eight children, (Fred, Peter, Michael, William, Mary, Anne and Nettie) who have all predeceased her. She attended McMillan School, a one room community school house located in the Teulon area. She left the family farm at the age of 18 to find a career in Winnipeg. During her working life, she was a seamstress, caterer, restaurant server and cashier. While working in a catering job at The Bay, she met her future husband, Maurice which was the beginning of a strong relationship of togetherness and marriage for more than 63 years. Maurice and Polly enjoyed many years at their cottage in Ponemah entertaining family and friends frequently. Polly was an excellent cook, making the best perogies, dainties and famous fancy sandwiches, which were enjoyed by all her family and friends. She will be remembered as a caring wife, mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the First Responders and Paramedics who arrived quickly and worked tirelessly to help Mom and our family through this difficult time.
