WILLIAM (BILL) CHARLES BOWYER April 20, 1937 - August 9, 2018 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Bowyer. Bill is survived by siblings, Bev, James (Kathleen); nephew Michael; niece Debra; and longtime companion and close friend Margie, plus many cousins throughout North America. Bill was predeceased by father Wilfred and mother Margaret, and brother Albert. Bill was born with unfavorable health issues and spent much time in and out of hospital, but he didn't let this get him down and lived life to the fullest on his own terms. Bill worked for Federal Government, Churchill, Manitoba, then in private business in Saskatchewan as an accountant. Bill had sharp wit and a good sense of humor, which blossomed when he was socializing at only one of his watering holes, including number one Legion Winnipeg. You did well Bill, you were honest, always helping others, setting people straight when they were out of line. We will miss you Bill. No formal service will be held. An interment will take place at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Family and friends may sign a Book of Condolence at www.glenlawn.ca Glen Lawn Funeral Home 204-982-7550
