So many reaped the benefits of her unconditional love and were better people because of our mother, grandmother, and friend. Predeceased by Jim, her husband of 63 years, and her eldest son Jamie, she is celebrated by her daughter Darla (Chris), son Ken (Cheryl), daughter-in-law Cynthia, granddaughters, Jennifer (Rick) and Jocelyn (Mike) as well as great-grandsons, Reid, Christian, Sam and Ben along with many friends and other family. Special thanks to the staff at the Charleswood Care Centre for the love and support. There will be a memorial August 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Seasons Restaurant (2250 Saskatchewan Ave.) in Portage la Prairie. Instead of flowers please donate to a local animal shelter.
