We met Martin and Alice through the T-Bird car club and genuinely enjoyed their company from the start! Both were the ultimate host and hostess at their beautiful home and cottage! After Alice's passing, Martin and his 'girls' continued to host gatherings at Christmas and BBQ's at their cottage. We always enjoyed and appreciated the efforts they made to ensure that everyone had a great time! We attended the funeral for Martin this morning. It was a beautiful tribute to wonderful kind, honest and humble man who always wore a smile on his face! May he rest in peace! Our thoughts and prayers go to the family in their time of sorrow. My husband, Clarence Funk, worked for Martin, in the stucco and plastering profession. I have many fond memories of Martin and Alice and the girls. We visited often during our childhood! Martin was always very friendly and always had a smile. Sorry that I cannot attend the funeral! With deepest sympathy, Eva Funk - Posted by: Eva Funk (Cousin) on: Aug 23, 2018
