  • My dear childhood friend, Frank. Still a young man. I am very, very sad to hear of this. We grew up together, living across the street from one another on Harvard in Transcona. He was at every birthday party I had. Frank was always a very kind, good-spirited person. We went to school together. Tried to beat one another and race to get home at for lunch or home after school. Yes, we played many years of soccer together and we also hung out a lot as children right through to high school. We’re both Italian, many families intertwined or knew somebody who knew somebody in the Italian community. Which means somehow, somewhere we were probably related. (Haha) We love our Italian upbringing and friendly jokes about the Italianos. “Ya know, it’s an Italian thing!” A big loss to this world and a big part of my childhood memories. Good-bye my dear friend. I will miss you and remember you. With love and sadness- Always, Your Friend, Raffaele Falvo. - Posted by: Raffaele Falvo (Best Friends Growing Up) on: Sep 15, 2018
