Left to cherish his memory is his wife Leona, daughter Tracy and her partner Perry, and granddaughter Jennifer. Rolly will also be fondly remembered by his cousins, Patricia, Michael, Andrew, Sarah and Steven, his sister-in-law Joyce and family, as well as his very best friend Chuck and his family. Also remembering Rolly are many nieces, nephews and extended family members too numerous to mention. Rolly was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Albert, and his only brother Al. Rolly and Leona enjoyed a long, healthy retirement together. They enjoyed many vacations and spent every summer at the cottage. Rolly bowled and curled for many years, but his passion was playing golf and was a long time member of the Sandy Hook Golf Course. He particularly loved being at the cottage and the family have treasured memories of the time spent there. A celebration of Rolly's life will be held on Friday, September 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. To honour Rolly's memory a donation may be made in his name to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3R6 or CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Room ON 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
