Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELFRIEDE SCHLICHTING October 24, 1925 - September 20, 2018 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Elfriede, with family at her side, at the age of 92 years. Mom was predeceased by her beloved husband Fritz, in 2006 and son-in-law Donald Tyluk, in 2015. She is survived by daughters, Inge Tyluk, Anita (Harold) Desjarlais, Ingrid (Dan) Malchuk and Gisela (Johny) Giesbrecht; grandchildren, Iris (Kurtis) Stansell, Amanda Malchuk (Matt Chamaillard), Michael Malchuk and Kyle Gray; great-grandchildren, Zenin, Kaelynn, Sophia (Stansell) and Emily, Jocelyn, and Hailey (Chamaillard). Elfriede is also survived by friends and relatives in Germany. The family would like to thank the staff at Middlechurch Personal Care Home for taking care of Mom during the past two months and for their compassion at this difficult time. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will follow at a later date. "She was a mother, a friend and a teacher; she was there when you needed her; remember her lessons; to get up and stand tall after you fall". We love you. Until we meet again.
