Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND JOACHIM LARIVIERE Raymond Joachim LaRiviere passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on September 1, 2018. Ray was born March 2, 1942, living most of his life in Winnipeg, MB. He was a teacher for many years and touched many lives, later retiring to Victoria, BC. He had a gift of making people laugh. He had a deep love for his family, always having a house full of grandchildren sleeping over and making his life full. They were his joy. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife Carole, of 53 years; his children, Janette (Dan), Mike, Jacquie (Erin) and Cari (Jake); his grandchildren, Hayden (Jess), Ainsley, Rebecca (Jeremy), Matthew, Amanda (Sean), Meghan (Andrew), Jessica (Dustin), Nicholas, Arianna, Violet, Neveah, and his great-grandchildren, Jayda, Miles, Max and Stella. A family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Dad you always taught us to be strong and courageous the same way you fought your cancer. You were the most intelligent person I have ever met. Your sense of humour was incredible. The love for your children and grandchildren was unconditional. I am going to miss you like crazy! I love you so much and thank you for being the best dad and Grandpa a family coukd have.
