Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIANO BALLESTEROS LORIA March 23, 1938 - October 11, 2018 It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Victoriano Ballesteros Loria, who left us on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 80 years old. After his courageous battle with kidney cancer Victor passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife and daughter. Victor is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Enriqueta Celedonio Loria. His two sons, one daughter and their families: Danilo (Joy) Loria, Ferdinand Loria and Jennifer (Kristoffer) Aslak, his six grandchildren: Ainsleigh Dayne Loria, Helena Loria, Alyshia Layne Loria, Aidan Miles Loria, Chloe Noelle Aslak and Kenna Zoe Aslak. Victor is also survived by his three sisters, brother-in-law and their families: Rosalinda (Minda) and Joel Almazan, Purificacion (Puring) Loria and Adoracion (Adoring) Loria, including his nephew and his wife, Clifford (Olivia) Almazan, their children: Nicole, Noah, Natasha, Naomi, Nikita and Nixon Almazan. Victor is predeceased by his parents, Maria (nee Ballesteros) and Romulo Loria, sister Natividad (Nati) Loria and brother Alex Loria. Victor was born March 23, 1938 and raised in Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines. He along with his wife arrived in Canada in 1972 from the Philippines. Victor worked at Lucien Custom Woodwork as a Cabinet Maker for over 35 years until he retired in 2005. Victor will be most remembered for his gentle, kind and caring nature. He will be deeply missed. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at Glen Lawn Memorial Garden and Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Funeral service to be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Family wish to thank the Dr. Crawford and in particular Manny for their care and support given to Vic and his family at their time of need.
