PAUL SAMUEL THOMAS March 7, 1957 - October 4, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our brother, Paul Thomas at the age of 61 years. Paul is survived by his brothers Michael (Chic) and Peter Thomas (wife Kelly). Paul will also be remembered by his nephews, Wyatt and Dan Kuchma (wife Samantha). Paul was predeceased by his father William (Chic) Thomas, mother Marian (McCoo) Thomas, and sister Kim Thomas. Paul had several interests including cycling, cars, racing and planes. His close friend Kenny Tacium, who called Paul "Zeke", would spend many Sunday afternoons with Paul at the Winnipeg Airport, cooking burgers while watching planes. Paul had a great mechanical ability and loved to learn about all technical aspects of anything that caught his eye. Paul also had a flair for 'unique' Christmas gifts that were always practical; such as nice cuts of meat or tools for his nephew Dan. Paul was selfless and would give of his time and energy with no regard for his own needs. Paul loved spending time with his family be it watching F1 races with his brothers or being with his nephews, Wyatt and Dan. His greatest gift was a loving and caring heart. Paul, to the end, did things his way. As were his wishes, there will be no funeral service.
