Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCECILE DELAQUIS (nee HARRISON) On Monday, October 22, 2018, with her daughters by her side, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother. Cecile was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Cora, brother Ken, sister Lil, brother-in-law Bill, and sister-in-law Eleanor. Cecile is survived by her daughters, Pauline (Raymond), Linda (Bob), Monique (Willie) and Carol (Monty), grandchildren, Josh (Amanda), Meghan (Shane), Renae (Rob), Tyler, Chloe, Chanel, and great-grandchildren, Keegan, Makilah, Kaydia and Benjamin. Also left to mourn are her brother Brian (Jackie), sisters, Elaine and Sherry (Charlie), sister-in-law Lilly, as well as numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment to follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Mom believed in the power of angels and often during her prayers at night she would place an angel on those that were sick. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Cecile. She was our friend and helper during the time we owned the Churchill Apartments.
