WINSTON BOYD KNIGHT After a lengthy illness and a valiant battle, it is with sadness that we announce the passing of Winston Knight on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the St. Boniface Hospital, at the age of 78 years. Winston was predeceased by his father Frederick and mother Catherine; and his first wife Yvonne. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Patricia; his children, Gary (Heather), Kimberly (Ed), Sharon (Doug), Lisa (Robin), Jennifer and family; grandchildren, Tyler, Kelsey, Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Juniper and Grayson. Winston was employed by the Province of Manitoba with Winnipeg Land Titles for 43 years. He loved tending to his yard in Ste. Anne. He had a true love of his cats, even taking in many strays to give them a good home. Winston loved all animals. He was a true sweet hearted man. Winston had a 1946 Chevy half ton that he cherished for many years. Thanks to Perry and his son Miguel for making it possible for Dad to have one last ride in his beloved truck. In accordance with Winston's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment has been held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. A special thank you to St. Boniface Hospital staff, and all those that have truly helped, both Winston and his family through this difficult time. Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Kim, Sharon, Gary, Lisa & all family. Please accept my most sincere condolences for the loss of your Dad. I know this message is late, but I was just made aware. I remember your Dad was a quiet, really nice man. He would come home from work and immediately start to play with one or more of you kids. I loved coming to your childhood home in St. Vital & later in Fort Richmond. You had the greatest parents. I hope you're able to see my message. I wish I had known earlier. Hopefully you will get in touch with me if possible. - Posted by: Janet Harrow Courcelles (School friend of Kim & Sharon) on: Nov 14, 2021
