Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMADELEINE (GEORGE) REMILLARD Heaven has gained another Angel Peacefully with family by her side, on Wednesday, October 31, 2018, Madeleine Remillard passed away at the Tuxedo Villa, at the age of 93 years. Madeleine was predeceased by her first husband Paul George and second husband Joseph Remillard, granddaughter Jennifer and son-in-law Doug Stevenson. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Daniel (Carolyn) George, Laurianne (Gordon) McMillan, Diane Stevenson, Raymond, Guy, Claude, Richard, Dennis, Gerald Remillard, her sister Simone Carriere, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many dear friends. A celebration of Madeleine's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 9, 2018 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. Interment will follow at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Special thanks to Dr. Mehta, and all the staff at Tuxedo Villa for their kind and compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Madeleine through masses being said. I met Madeleine, my new friend Daniel George's mother, after I enrolled at Bellegarde College in my teens, in the early sixties. Madeleine, who became forever after Ma Tante , has been an inspiration of friendliness, kindness, inclusion, humour, determination. Both Jaki and I felt better in her presence. My condolences to family and friends. Madeleine was a Beautiful, Kind , Funny and loving person. I am blowing you a kiss (as she loved it when I blew her a kiss she would blow one back). Je suis désolée de lire cette nouvelles du décès de chère Madeleine. Que son âme repose en paix! Femme joyeuse courageuse et remplie de grâce. Mes sincères sympathies à la famille ..surtout à chère Simone qui elle aussi fut une amie à la piscine. Bon courage à tous. Prenez soin de vos coeurs.
