Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFLORENCIO (POPOY) DE LEON FRANCISCO Peacefully with family by his side Florencio passed away at Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 6, 2018 at the age of 71 years. He was predeceased by his father Moises G. Francisco, mother Avelina de Leon Francisco, and three brothers, Edgardo, Reynaldo, and Virgilio Francisco. Florencio will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Lolita; children, Joy Michelle (James Garcia), James (Pam Raymundo), and Jonathan; his grandchildren, Merrick, Kendrick, Jaimalyn, Maia, and Santiago; his siblings, Carmelita, Adelina, Zenaida, Ofelia and Danilo, as well as his relatives across Canada, the US and the Philippines. Florencio was born on April 29, 1947 in the Philippines and immigrated to Canada in 1973, where he met and married his wife Lolita. He worked as a CNC Machine Operator at Versatile for over 20 years and for Thor Manufacturing for over 10 years before he retired. He enjoyed fishing, music and was well known for singing everywhere he went. He was adored by his family and friends and will truly be missed. Lamay to be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. to midnight, Glen Lawn Funeralv Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd., Winnipeg. Prayers will be said at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 2:00 p.m., St. Edwards Church, 836 Arlington St., Winnipeg. The family would like to sincerely thank Concordia Hospital ICU and N3 West Staff for their kindness and exceptional care during Florencio's last days.
