RUTH GERIS (nee SMITH) 1947 - 2018 Peacefully on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, Ruth Geris passed away in her sleep at the Grace Hospital at the age of 71 years. Ruth will be lovingly remembered by her husband Bert; children, Carrie and Chris; her mother Ola; and sister Joan. She will always be loved and missed by her close-knit family. She was predeceased by her father Ronald Smith. As per Ruth's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth's name to CancerCare Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
