ARNOLD GEORGE SINGER Arnold was born on January 2, 1928 and passed on November 18, 2018. Arnold is survived by his wife of 68 years, Shirley, his children, Mark (Joanne), Heather, Yale, Robyn (Jeff) and Ellyn. He leaves behind 13 grandchildren: Brooke, Naomii, Benjamin, Iona, James, Leah, Matthew, Joshua, Danielle, Sarah, Daniel, Samuel and Chloe and four great-grandchildren. Graveside funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Bnay Abraham Cemetery, 4639 Main Street. Meal of Condolence at Chevra Mishnayes, 700 Jefferson Avenue to follow. He loved us, we loved him and he will be missed.

  • Shirley, I remember Arnold well from the time at Portsmouth and Simkin, the latter where he shared a dining table with my mom, Luba Cates, and also getting out and around to concerts and services at Simkin. I enjoyed our talks together, Luba, Arnold, and when you would visit. I wish you and your family only sweetness in the future.   • So sorry to read of Arnold’s passing. ARNOLD was our accountant for several years. Our business was Wittenberg Lumber (Wittenberg & Son).
