WALTER RAYMOND MARCINA January 31, 1932 - November 14, 2018 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and gigi at the age of 86. Wally was predeceased by his parents (Nicholas and Katryna) and his son-in-law Scott Wilkinson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Emily (Minnie) of 60 years, daughter Donna Wilkinson, granddaughter Laura (Kyle) Katch, his precious great-grandaughter Ava Katch, fur babies, Layla and Candie, and several neighbourhood friends. Wally was raised in Foley, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg Beach in 1946. He started working at Great West Metals in 1947 where he stayed until his retirement in 1994. He and Minnie married in 1958 and moved to their current home in Transcona in 1964. As per Wally's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A gathering of family and friends will take place in summer of 2019. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to CancerCare Manitoba.
