Prayers will be held at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1001 Grant Avenue on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:00 p.m. Divine liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Ukrainian Catholic Church. "May her memory be Eternal." "Vichnaya Pam'yat."

Elizabeth and I travelled together in Eastern Europe in 1972. We visited in Winnipeg several times a year until I moved to Hamilton in 1976 and still kept in touch by Christmas cards. She was a good friend. I was thinking of Liz today. The cards had stopped coming a while ago, but Covid and mail strikes had added to that. Condolences to the family of Elizabeth. It has been many years since I have seen her but I live in BC so Winnipeg is many miles away. I am sorry to hear of her passing I still thought of her as being around my age I guess my memory is slipping as I am 63. I am third child of John and Kate Smadella.
