Daughter of the late Joseph Pumple and Elizabeth Rose Preston. Beloved wife of the late Robert Pundyk. Cherished mother of Sister Joanne Pundyk, SNJM (Brazil), Robert (Carolyn) and Edward (Margaret Wylie) of Ottawa, John (Brenda) and Thomas (Susan Clubb) of Winnipeg. Dear grandmother of Mary-Jane (Leaton Johnson), John (Sarah Stuchbury), Michael, Katie (Phil Slota), Madeleine (Rory Verbrugge) and Jeffrey. Great-grandmother of Christopher, Adam, Sarah, Jackson, Riley, Tate, Henry, Maria and Emily. She was predeceased by her grandson David, her brother Edward, and sisters, Mary Hynes and Dorothy Wilson. Albertina graduated from Immaculata High School (1935) and the University of Ottawa School of Nursing (1940). Abby was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be fondly remembered for her kindness, her sense of humour and devotion to God. A Funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick's Basilica, 220 Kent St., on Friday, November 23 at 10:00 a.m. Burial followed at Hope Cemetery.
