SARA HELEN MILLER With heavy hearts we mourn the loss of our dear daughter, sister, granddaughter, aunt and niece, Sara. She was gifted to us for only 32 years. She was the light of our lives. Sara loved the challenge of creating with words, dance and acting on stage or in film. She loved nature; a love that developed growing up outside Winnipeg, MB in a forest of Basswood trees. Nothing made her happier than hiking in the mountains with her friends. Sara completed the Film Studies program at Ryerson and attended University of Toronto. She was an avid yoga practitioner and travelled to India to study the teaching of yoga. Sara was predeceased by her father Arthur Miller in 1997. She is survived by her mother Donna Kuppers, stepdad Bruce Kuppers; brothers, Michael Plunkett of Chatham, Ontario and Patrick (Lynne) Plunkett; nephew Seamus Plunkett of Winnipeg, Manitoba; niece Jane Bradbury; grandparents, Inez and Irvine Striemer of Winnipeg, MB; "sister" Amy Striemer of Montreal; "sister" Kate Zimmerman of Toronto and "brother" Mark Striemer of Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Sara loved animals, cared deeply about the environment and volunteered her time supporting underprivileged girls. A memorial service will be held at a later date in London, Ontario. The family greatly appreciates the help of Sara's friends and extended family in Vancouver and the help and support of Detective Raymond Payette of Vancouver. Arrangements entrusted to Kearney Funeral Services, Vancouver, BC www.kearneyfs.com

I was very sorry to read of your loss, Donna. I recall my very young daughter and I being on the same plane as you many years ago. At that time, you told me that you wished you had a daughter. So happy that wish was granted and you were blessed with such a loving and talented child, albeit for too short a time. My deepest sympathy to you and your family at this difficult time. - Posted by: Karen Bieber (Former coworker) on: Dec 11, 2018

My sincere condolences to those closest to Sara. I have many happy memories of her from piano recitals, high school drama class, and musicals. She was so very kind and talented. A beautiful human. - Posted by: Elan Marchinko (High School acquaintance) on: Dec 09, 2018
