Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOSEPH KENNETH ROBESON PAUPANEKIS It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our brother, uncle, cousin and dear friend, Joseph Kenneth Robeson Paupanekis. Joe went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Joe is predeceased by his parents, father William T. Paupanekis and mother Delia Paupanekis (nee Chubb); brother William L. Paupanekis; sisters, Marion M.F. Muswagon (nee Paupanekis), Tilda M. Paupanekis; sister-in-law Eva Paupanekis (nee Longclaws); brother-in-law William G. Johnston; nephews, William D. Johnston and William L. Muswagon. Joe leaves to mourn his sisters, Ida F. Johnston (nee Paupanekis) and Maggie E. Paupanekis; and his longtime partner Lillian Benoit; his best friend Carlos Ramos, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Prayer service and viewing for Joe will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Home, 3030 Notre Dame Ave. Funeral service to follow on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Norway House Cree Nation Reserve with arrangements entrusted to the Norway House Funeral Home, 1-204-359-4746.
