  • My sisters (Shawn, Karen, Lorna ) and my Mom Pat remember the Shore boys as a big part of our teenage days...Larry had eyes that smiled with a personality and the smile to match - one of the nicest guys you could ever know...We just found out about his passing and are very saddened by this news. Our Deep Heartfelt Sadness and Sympathies go out to his entire family - his parents, Rick and his wife, his wife and kids and extended family and friends. • I was shocked and saddened to hear of Larry's passing. I knew Larry for many years from his time at Falcon Lake. He was a real genuine person. Larry had an infectious personality that made you want to be around him. He was a great story teller and could probably read from a phone book and you would want to hear more. Years back, Larry was living in Calgary working as a sales rep for WonderBra when I moved out there and for a short time we were roommates. He did his best to teach me all he knew about bra fittings and cup sizes. Armed with this new found knowledge and under his tutelage, I did my best to impress young ladies at the local bars. This usually ended up in a face slap or two as Larry watched from the side grinning. He was an amazing guy and will be greatly missed by his family and all those who knew him. It is a privilege to have know him and call him a friend. Gord Doran - Posted by: Gord Doran (Friend) on: Dec 16, 2018

  • My condolences to you Monique and the kids at this sad time. Larry was such a genuine nice guy and generous. I worked with Larry and learnt so much from him he was a mentor to me when I was just starting out and always enjoyed our updates when we spoke or emailed since he left Wpg. I fondly always remember snowmobiling at the lake with him. - Posted by: Keith markevich (Friend) on: Dec 15, 2018

  • Our heartfelt sympathy, Monique and family and Rick and family. We remember Larry with great fondness and still are in possession of the silver dollar and note he wrote which he gave us when we married 50 years ago. Larry was in my grade 4 class at that time. He was always so polite and caring. Our thoughts are with you. Sincerely Susan and Lorne Lisik - Posted by: Susan and Lorne Lisik (Elementary teacher) on: Dec 15, 2018
