ODARKA (AUDREY) KOWALCHUK Audrey Kowalchuk passed away on December 5, 2018 at the Golden Links Lodge in Winnipeg. Audrey was born on the family farm near Angusville, MB in 1928, the youngest of nine children. She was predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Sandena; as well as brothers, Steve, Bill, Danny; and sisters, Stephanie, Anna, Olive, Mary and Claudia. Audrey was adventurous, moving first to Toronto to work in an advertising agency in the early 1950s and then on to Bermuda as the executive secretary to the General Manager of the Castle Harbour Resort. She then also worked in New York, Miami and finally Ocala, Florida. She retired to Tucson, AZ where she lived until 2017, when she returned to Manitoba. Audrey was known for her great love for all animals, her own and those that she house sat for. She also supported several animal rescue organizations by volunteering her time. In keeping with Audrey's wishes, there will be no service and her body has been donated to the University of Manitoba's Medical College for research. "Vichnaya Pamyat"
