MALCA LAZARECK Malca Lazareck, 91, of Henderson, NV, died December 10, 2018. Born May 6, 1927 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Malca married Dr. Isadore Lazareck in 1949. They raised six children in Devils Lake, ND then moved to San Diego, CA in 1975. Malca relocated to Henderson in 2014 to be closer to family. Malca excelled as a stage actress, radio producer, artist, photographer, gardener, swimmer, student, but most importantly as a wife, mother, gram and great-gram. She was a true "Renaissance" woman: creative, bright, warm, private, honourable, curious, active, resilient. Malca lived a full, memorable life. She was our family's heart and soul. Preceded in death by her beloved parents, husband Izzy, brother Leonard Marcoe, son Allen, and daughter Mira Kozakiewicz. Malca is survived by loving daughters, Ruthe of Minneapolis, MN, Maxine Lazareck-Spatt (Glenn) of Henderson, NV; sons, Jack (Susan) of Portland, OR, Leslie (Julia) of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Alison (Matt) of Brooklyn, NY, Anna of Portland, OR, Robyn (Ryan) Stuchlik of Lemon Grove, CA, David Kozakiewicz of Colorado Springs, CO, Cameron Spatt of Henderson, NV; great-granddaughter Makenna Stuchlik; caring nieces, nephews, and their families. We celebrated our beautiful Malca's life at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 14, 2018 at El Camino Memorial Sorrento Valley, 5600 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA. She will be buried next to daughter Mira. No flowers; memorials at your discretion.
