LAWRENCE ALLEN GAMBIN April 1, 1986 - December 16, 2018 After a brief illness, Lawrence passed away at St. Boniface Hospital. Lawrence was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He was very generous and willing to help anyone in need. Lawrence loved being an uncle to Rachel, Miriam, Max, Patrick and Godfuncle to Peter. As you can see, Lawrence loved a good joke (Godfuncle - godfather + uncle). Lawrence loved to cook and enjoyed preparing meals on his days off. He enjoyed playing hockey and rugby and was a Montreal Canadiens fan. He also loved travelling and enjoyed his trip to Ireland. Lawrence was predeceased by his brother Adrian and his grandparents, John and Dorothy Allen and Gerald and Veronica Gambin, uncle Mike and aunt Veronica Gambin, aunt Ann-Marie Gambin, and uncle Gordon Constantine. Left to cherish his memory are parents, Joe and Fran Gambin, brother Joseph (Angela), sister Kristin, nieces and nephews mentioned above, aunts, Dorothy Comeau (Parker), Margaret Constantine, Mary Singleton (Ab) and Rita Ward (Johnny), uncles, John Allen (Arlene), Gordon Gambin (Lu), Camillus Gambin (Kathleen) and Peter Gambin (Elsie) as well as numerous cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Boniface Hospital or the True North Youth Foundation. The family would like to thank Victoria Hospital Urgent Care staff and St. Boniface Hospital Emergency and ICU staff for their excellent care of Lawrence.
