HELEN CARDINAL Helen Cardinal passed away on December 18, 2018 at the age of 85 at the Health Sciences Centre. Born February 26, 1933 to parents, John and Katherine Brud. Helen spent the first 20 years of her life in Brandon, MB. Helen worked many years as a Health Care Aide at Seven Oaks Hospital, a job she loved and where she retired. The last year of her life was spent at Holy Family Nursing Home. Helen was a fun- loving, generous woman, who had a way of drawing smiles out of people. Helen was predeceased by her first husband Peter Senyk and second husband William Cardinal. She will be greatly missed by her children, Cindy (Ralph), Frances (Fatah), Bob (Margaret) and Richard (Phyllis); grandchildren, Erin, Nikki, Alex, Peter, Marleena, Juliana and great-grandchild Apollos. In respect of Mom's wishes, no funeral will be held. She has been cremated and a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. WE LOVE YOU MOM!   • Although I hadn't seen Helen in many years, she was a huge part of my life for many years and I loved her dearly, like a second mom. I truly missed her after we lost touch. I have always held her close to my heart through the years and I have so many beautiful memories; a heart of gold, so kind and so loving and always giving!
