MACHIKO KOGA Peacefully, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at the Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Machiko Koga passed away at the age of 88 years. Machiko was predeceased by her parents, Tsuneichiro and Shige Koga, brothers, George and Sam Koga, and sister-in-law Kathryn Koga. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Masami and David and sister-in-law Carmel Koga, nieces and nephews, Tracy (Kevin), Ward (Susan), Angel (Ashley), Dustin, Tanya (Ken), Todd, Quinton and their families. Machiko was employed with the Federal Government for over 30 years and upon retirement, she was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. In accordance with Machiko's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. Family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Golden Door Geriatric Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Machiko to the Winnipeg Humane Society. It was my pleasure to have known Mach through our employment with the Government of Canada 🇨🇦. Getting together with mutual friends for coffee, lunches, dinners, shopping, fashion shows, movies, the Ballet etc. Mach was up for anything. She has often been in our thoughts and is greatly missed.
