MARSHA JULIA ROSCOE (EMELNICHENKO) It is with sorrow and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Marsha Roscoe (Emelnichenko) on December 30, 2018 at the age of 72. Marsha was born on August 26, 1946 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is survived by her daughter Tara and her sister Helen Semkiw. Marsha was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Valerie Emelnichenko. Marsha was raised in the north end of Winnipeg and was surrounded by a strong community of extended family and friends growing up. She attended and graduated from Sisler High School. She spent most of her years living in the Garden City and Maples areas. In her youth, she was vibrant, outgoing and was always closely connected to a group of dedicated dear friends. She enjoyed reading and spending time at Gimli during the summer. Although in her later years she suffered from multiple health issues, she coped as best as she could and maintained a sense of humour. Although we are sorry for her passing, we believe she is in a more peaceful place now. A special thank you to her compassionate childhood friend Sandra Hoffman who remained dedicated to her throughout the years and up to the very end. Donations can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba.
