Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA IRENE POPPLESTONE June 21, 1942 - January 15, 2019 Peacefully, with family by her side, our wonderful Mother, nanny and sister, passed away Tuesday. Left broken-hearted are her children, Michelle (Michael). Kaiden, Carlynn; son Robert; daughter Debbie (Doug), David, Geoffrey; son John (Jackie), Ryan, Randy, Richard, Hope, Shyana; and sister Joan (Rob). Predeceased by her loving partner Bill Perry and her parents, Tom and Doris Eyres. Mom will also be missed by Bill's children, her many friends and neighbors. Mom's sudden passing has left a big hole in our hearts and her laughter will be missed by all who knew her. Nanny loved being with her family and was her grandchildren's biggest cheerleader! She never missed an event and the sidelines will never be the same without her. As per Mom's request, there will be no service. Donations may be made to Children's Hospital Foundation of Manitoba. Until we meet again sweet lady...

Barb and I spent many great times together. She gave me my first of many poodles I’ve loved over the years. I had a wonderful visit with Barb last fall when I moved back to Manitoba. She talked lovingly about her family. I’m so glad that I got in touch with her when I did. Barb and I would go on weekends to the Victoria Comminity Club to dance the night away. We were great jiving partners. I lived right next door to her for many years.
