DIANA STELMACK 1934 - 2019 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Diana Stelmack on Thursday, January 17, 2019, at the age of 84 years. She will be cherished and deeply missed by her loving husband, Gordon of 64 years; her daughters, Deb, Lori, and Susan; grandchildren, Amanda, Hilary, Zachary (Kelly), and Olivia; great-grandchildren, Barak, Nolan, Jillian, and Jackson. Diana is predeceased by her sister Fran Rowand; brothers, Lloyd and Ken Nordholt; and her son-in-law Mark Everton. She is survived by her sister Myrna McReynolds and brother Glen Nordholt; sisters-in-law, Irene Nordholt, Linda Wright, and Pearl Stelmack; and brother-in-law Larry Stelmack. Diana was devoted to her family and they will treasure the many wonderful memories of her. She was a great homemaker who enjoyed crafting, sewing and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren. Diana and Gordon enjoyed traveling and had numerous adventures exploring the world. Many summers and holidays were spent with family at their cottage where Diana loved to lavish everyone with good food. Charades, dancing to old records and hide and go seek always made for lots of laughs and good times. Diana and Gord also enjoyed a number of years in Peachland, BC, in a home they built together. The family would like to thank the staff at River Park Gardens Personal Care Home for the wonderful care Diana received during her time there. A celebration of Diana's life will take place on Thursday, January 24, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Boulevard, Winnipeg. • My deepest condolences to the family. We moved to 609 Kildare in 1965 and our first meeting was the Stelmack family at 605 Kildare. Susan Stelmack was my best friend since then. Mrs. Stelmack was a beautiful soft spoken and caring women. She helped me and my family out when times were tough. She was a great cook and baker. She would make sure I was dressed right for the weather if I came over with no mitts or scarves or hats. I would go home with generous donations of hand me downs. I remember Sue showing me paper clippings of her mom's athletic accomplishments. She was a beautiful women inside and out. She was like a second mother to me growing up. With love RIP Mrs. Diana Stelmack - Posted by: Terry Manthey (Friend) on: Jan 22, 2019
