FRANCES ELLEN BEDDOWS (nee WREGGITT) January 31, 2019 After a long, happy and full life, Frances Beddows passed away following a short illness on January 31, 2019 at the St. Boniface Hospital. She is survived by daughter Wendy Zaplacinsky; son-in-law Walter Zaplacinsky; brother Jack Wreggitt; along with nieces, nephews and cousins. Frances was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Walter, and brother Bill Wreggitt. Frances was born in Winnipeg and began working at Systems Equipment at age 16. She quit work when she became pregnant; and then resumed employment part time when her daughter started school, and continued working until her retirement. Frances enjoyed travelling in the family camper to Canadian and Northern U.S destinations. She loved to bake and was a generous provider of her homemade cookies; no meal was complete without her baking. She enjoyed gardening in her own backyard; especially beautiful flowers and a few tomato plants bearing fruit despite the rabbits. She could be seen chasing the rabbits away with a broom last summer. A thank you to the staff on 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for their care. As per Frances' wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service or gathering.
