Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROLINE (KARLA) OWSIAK September 13, 1943 - February 3, 2019 On February 3, 2019, Karla passed away peacefully at the age of 75 at Concordia Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. She grew up on a farm near Amaranth, MB and spent her adult life in Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Katie; sisters, Vicki, Joyce and Rose; brothers, Mike and Peter; stepbrother and stepsister; and nephew Trent. She is survived by her special cousins, Ed, Ruth, Helen and Clifford; as well as Alex, Sue, Carol, Rob, Larry and Mary; aunt Elizabeth; nieces and nephews, Adam, David, Jim, Ann and Kathy Johnson. She will be missed by her friends, Penny, Kim, Shaylyne and Michaela and her best friend Linda May. A thank you to Concordia Hospital 3N for their care and compassion, as well as to Ed and Ruth whom supported her in the hospital during the last week of her life. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held on Friday, February 8, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Avenue at Henderson Highway.
