Since learning of Pat's passing I have been reflecting on our times together. I can hear her distinct laugh in my head. I recall Pat taking charge of me when I received the news at work that my own mother only had a few days to live and I needed to get home to Toronto immediately. She never paid lip service only to her suggestions, she always backed them up with physical actions. And there she was in my apartment, helping me pack and taking care of business. That was over 30 years ago and we have remained friends ever since. Sorry to not be attending the Celebration of her life. Prayers go out to her cherished friends and family who have had to deal with this unexpected outcome. - Posted by: Nancy Coghill (friend and former co-worker) on: Feb 09, 2019

Pat and I worked together many years ago at Marr's Leisure Products, there were many fun weekends with other co-workers at Hollie Mackie's cottage, she was one of a group of six who had formed a gourmet dinner club, I think I talked her into buying her blue camaro. Pat was a very nice person, kind and fun loving. The two of us went to Florida one winter to visit a friend of hers....and met up with a friend of mine who we joined up with and drove around the entire state down the west side and up the east side....so many memories. Thank you Pat and thank you again for that (what you thought was ugly) unique little white container with grapes on it and three dimensional leaf. When I see it I always think of you and will continue to do so. Ivy I met you and George long ago and have your recipe for Ivy's Air Buns, which are absolutely delicious. May memories always keep her near to you and your family. - Posted by: Dianne Medwid (acquaintance) on: Feb 09, 2019
